Local tips
- "Near" depends on your hallThe campus is four halls far apart. A hotel that is a short walk to Central Hall can be far from West Hall; use the free campus Loop between halls.
- Avoid the taxi line at show closeTaxi lines can be long at the close of the show each day. A hotel with a Monorail or Loop station, or the official shuttles, gets you out faster.
- Parking in big show weeksDuring large shows public parking is limited: there was none at CES, and construction affects parking during SEMA 2026. Plan on the Monorail, the Loop or shuttles.
- Official shuttles come with the official blockSome shows run free hotel shuttles only for guests booked in their official hotel block; World of Concrete is one example. Check before you book elsewhere.
